Broadway Our Way Festival (3rd Saturday in April)

A Local Cultural Festival

A local cultural highlight that brings the community together to celebrate the heritage of the Broadway area. The Memorial welcomes visitors for guided tours of the Pavilion and the NC Disabled Veterans Monument, helping residents learn about the registry and commemoration opportunities.

Memorial Day Ceremony (Memorial Day)

 A Remembrance Ceremony

 This traditional ceremony at the Pavilion is our most sacred gathering, offering a quiet space for families and the public to reflect on the cost of freedom.

4th of July Celebration (July 4th)

 A Patriotic Community Gathering

A vibrant, community-wide celebration of American Independence held in the spirit of patriotic pride. The Pavilion serves as a central hub for holiday festivities, featuring educational displays about North Carolina's military history and a tribute to our nation’s veterans.

Veterans Day Ceremony (November 11th)

 Ceremonious Tribute

 Join us for our annual cornerstone event as we gather at the North Carolina Veterans Memorial to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served in our nation's armed forces. This ceremony features a wreath laying, patriotic music, guest speakers, and a solemn moment of reflection to honor the continuity of sacrifice across all generations.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony (First Sunday in December)

 A Festive Holiday Memorial Event

 A community-centered holiday event to honor veterans and their families during the winter season. The "Tree of Honor" is lit in a festive ceremony at the Pavilion, accompanied by carols and a special tribute to those currently deployed.

Community Dinner (Coming Soon)

Community & Connection

We invite all neighbors, veterans, and families to Broadway Veterans Park for our annual community dinner. This event is a celebration of the community support that makes this Memorial possible. It is a wonderful opportunity to share a meal and connect with fellow North Carolinians in the shadow of the Pavilion.
